Hi, I'm Jaimie

Life is full of surprises...

I never thought I would be a homeschool mom, but God had a bigger plan in mind.

Here is a quick timeline of events:

In 2012, I received a degree in Education and hoped to be a classroom teacher.

I married my husband and got a dream job teaching 5th grade.

In 2014 we had our first daughter, and I remember specifically stating that I could never be a stay at home mom. (Ha!) I loved my job, and I enjoyed being a working mom.

In 2016, we had our second daughter. I loved the adventurous summers off with my little girls.

When I was pregnant with my third daughter, I knew my heart was changing. I wanted to be home with my girls.

In 2019, we planned a move and decided to homeschool my oldest for kindergarten. It was important to us that she received a Christian education, and I also wanted time with her at home.

We started to Homeschool...

It was only supposed to be for a year. God took our little plan and made it a big one.

I homeschooled my oldest, Evelyn, for Kindergarten and worked on a few preschool skills with my second daughter, Joanna.

In 2020, we actually enrolled Evelyn in first grade at a school…and then the world shut down.

Through a lot of prayer, this is when I really felt called to continue homeschooling.

We joined a Classical Conversations community.

We found out we were having a BOY!

I wanted to help others who were unexpectedly homeschooling, because it can seem overwhelming as you research online.

Simply Learning Together came to life and our son was born two months later!

I’m passionate about what I do and what I believe, and I’m so thrilled to share that with you. Thank you for being here for it.
